Default Multi function switch

This is the problem with my wife's 2004 Pontiac Sunfire. I don't want to take the car to the stealership, well because they are the stealership. With the DRL on, the left and right blinkers function as they should but the LED display on the dash and the radio flash with the blinker. Turn on the headlights and the right blinker works fine. Use the left blinker and it just stops. If it does flash, which is sometimes slow, the LED displays flash at the same rate. I am wondering if the multi function switch may be the problem. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Found the problem. The directional/marker light is a dual filament bulb. The one filament broke free and landed directly onto the directional filament and welded it self onto place. Therefore when the directional was called for, it was grounding out through the marker filament causing the erratic issue. Go figure.
