Hello, I recently bought a 98 Grand Prix SE, when I bought it, it was lacking a radio in it, so I took the one out of my old car and hooked it up, grounded it out and turned the car on. Yep, it works, got sound and all that good stuff, when I turn the car off the CD player still stays on. I was told that was normal, that is not my problem though.After I turn the car off and open the door andthe CD player shuts off, I turn the car back on immediately afterwards and the CD player like "forgets" its settings (what track it was on, radio presets etc.) its like if you were to unplug the battery. Does anyone know what could cause a problem like that?

 

I took it to Best Buy and they got it all straightened out for me
