Default '97 grand am gt, couple ?s

hey guys, i have a 1997 grand am gt, 2.4L 4cyl auto, 160K miles on 'er. it seems like a great little car, i picked it up cheap with a bad wheel bearing and fixed it so i could use it for my gas saver. couple questions i have though.

1. what is the average 'life expectancy' of this car? it is at 160K right now, ive been all through it all and in my cars case it seems very mechanically sound. im very good with maintenance, and i know thats a big part, but really, how far are these things known to go?

2. what kinda mileage do y'all usually get in em? i got around 28-30 babyin it the couple tanks ive put through, which is waaaay above the epa rating.

thanks,
nick

btw, heres pics of the car. i know on the gm and ford truck forums im on they get upset when you talk about your ride and dont show pics of it.
