95' grand am... OBD1 or 2?

95' grand am... OBD1 or 2?
i have a '95 grand am se v6 2dr... need help on jumping the computer to read the codes... everything i've read says it should be OBD2, but it doesn't fit my buddies computer reader. So if it's still OBD1 shouldn't there be a way to jump it? any help would be great. Thanks
