Default Question --> Battery

Hey guys!

Just wanted to know what's better for the car if I'm going on vacation for a month this summer.

1) Disconnect the battery while I'm gone? And if so, which end? Positive, negative, or both?

OR

2) Have someone start the car and let it run for a couple of minutes every couple of days?

Thanks in advance for your help!

If you disconnect the battery you will have to reprogram some things that rely on the battery to keep the memory alive including the engine and transmission computers. Depending on the year of the car, you will need a scan tool to reset some of the engine management systems.
Probably too late to read this now. It's December.
