Aftermarket (better) rotors for 02 Gran Prix?
Hello all -
Does anyone else have an issue with the 2002 Gran Prix front brake rotors, where after about 20,000 miles they start to get warped and the brakes seem to 'pulse' when braking (most noticable at high speeds, expressway, etc.) My 2002 Gran Prix needs a brake job - again - and this time I want to replace the rotors with a different type than factory, so they don't start gettting 'the pulse' when braking. Is there a standard size aftermarktet replacement made with a different metal, possibly stainless, that last longer than the stock ones? Where can they be found, is the additional cost worth the trade-off? Any information helpful, thanks!!

first check to see if the calipers are releasing fully.sometimes the slides dont let it release and it keeps slight brake bressure on and that causes the pads to stay in contact with the rotor and causing it to heat up and warp when it cools down. kind of like riding the brakes..
