68 Lemans Post... RARE?
I know that the 1970 Chevelle 300 Post car was a rare beast. I came across a 1968 Lemans 2 door post car sitting in Kentucky. It needs a LOT of work. My favorite year of this body style (Lemans, Tempest, GTO) is 1968. I was wondering if this is worth taking the time to salvage it or just let it go. If it would have the value worth saving I would... otherwise I would move on. The car is Verdero green (I know that is spelled wrong), has a 400 4 barrel with a 400 turbo. What do you think guys. Worth salvaging from the rust fairies or genuflect and move away slowly hat in hand? Thanks

RE: 68 Lemans Post... RARE?
My Dad had a '69 LeMans post coupe, also Verdugo (sp?) Green- had a 350 and a 2bbl. It was the first car I learned to drive in, and the first car I learned to do bodywork on.
How bad is the rust? I'm sure you could get new quarters and fenders from Classic Inustries. Not a Goat, but still very cool.
