Hey -
I'm not totally sure either, but figured I'd toss this out there
You probably don't want to connect anything to the ignition switch/wiring because you might run the risk of overriding any potential default control module settings programmed to shut down the radio, interior lights, etc. It's been a while since I last looked at the back of the latest GM radio design(s), so the only option I can think of would be some sort of FM Modulator connected to the back of the radio - but you'd have to hack-in and program it to recognize the frequency of your transmitter. Whewww..!
Anyhow - I'm trying to figure out whether I should buy out the rest of my wife's G6 GMAC lease before it ends. It's been a solid vehicle and I know the cost of extending the warranty is probably affordable. Your thoughts?
