Default Strange Popping HELP!

Hello,

I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. 4 Door, FWD, 3.2 V6.

Recently I have heard a loud popping on the front passenger side of the vehicle. It only happens at slow speeds. Primarily 25 MPH and below. While turning it will happen at either direction, however turning left does seems to make it happen more so than turning right.

Bumps do not tend to make it happen. Braking doesn't make a difference either. As long as I get below 25 it seems to start whether I coast or brake.

Not sure what it could be. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not quite positive but could be an axle even though they normally click. can you get someone to watch the wheel outside the vehicle?

It could be that your car isnt down shifting. If your lacking lowend torque then thats deffinately what it is.

try changing the transmission fluid.

You might want to look at the intermediate steering shaft. It's a pretty common issue.
Thanks!

I too think that the problem is in shaft.
