Default 2.2 w/ two plugs not firing

I have a 2002 grand am with a 2.2 ecotek. I am not getting any spark from the middle two cylinder's plugs. I have replaced the plugs, checke the wires with an ohm meter andreplaced the ignition coil pack. Still the same problem. The last thing I can think of is the module. My thoughts are that I have tested and replaced everything after the module. And if it were something before the module (like a connector or wire) I would not have any spark at all. But I thought that if a module went bad I would lose all spark. Any thoughts?

Default RE: 2.2 w/ two plugs not firing

Well I talked to a mechanic and he had a box with five coil packs with the module on them from the 2.2 ecotek. I guess its a common problem. and all of the ones they had were not getting spark from cylinder 2 &3. I replaced the module and it is fine. The mechanic told me that they when the coil goes bad it wipes out the module. He always replaces both.
