Is the fuel filter on a 91 Grand Am accessible?
Without dropping the tank?
I got a 91 Grand AM and I think the fuel pump may be bad. It's that damn throttle body crap and the horrible 2.5 that I had in my old Citation (they are wonderful til it comes time to work on it!) I lifted the spare (had to hacksaw off the post the rust was so bad) and I found this:
To me it looks like it would likely give access to the pump without removing the tank, but of course they spot welded it on. I was thinking with some careful dremel work or something perhaps that plate can be lifted and save a lot of trouble?
