Cool 2005 pontiac bonneville and G8 sub-frames

i just bought a 2005 bonneville se off my parents and i want to stuff a v8 in there and make it RWD... i was wondering if i cud use a g8 front and rear sub-frame with little custom work... using the ls2 from a g8 would be a great platform too, and with no mods if i used the g8 front sub-frame.
anyways, I was just hoping to get some pix/ dimensions of the underside of the g8 and bonneville (as i am 1500 miles away from my bonneville atm!) as that would give me a lot of insight as to how much work this project will be!
thanks,
bigb

Thats quite a project, one that I often mulled over when I owned a gtp. I even recall reading someplace a few years ago someone was trying something like this. I think one of the main issues was the lack of a place to put the drive shaft and rear. you would almost need to re fabricate the whole car. however, I would be interested in seeing it thats for sure.

thank you for the interest and i will def post some pix when i finally get the time to do this project... been very busy with my job lately, and my fiance wants me to finish all my other projects before i start this one i assumed i will run into problems with drive shaft and rear space, that is no big deal, i have fabricated many of those=)
btw, nice camaro! my firebird was wrecked last month, i miss that thing like crazy! but oh well, opens up a spot for a new project!
