Trying to buy first trans am, need help with it.
I'm looking into purchasing a 87 trans am. I don't know much bout this cause i'm normally into imports. just trying to get away from them and jump into this one.
This is an 1987 trans am with a late 1970s 4 bolt main 350 (rated at 300-325 horses) 30 over flat top pistons, 461 heads (202,160), corvette cam (old school style), edlebrock performer dual plane aluminum intake, 650 cfm electric choke vacuum sec., hei distributor, 700r4 tranny with shift kit, new front noise and fenders, 15" centerlines (needs tires), a/c blows very cold motor needs headers, starter, plugs, and wires (roughly $250-300) will sell unfinished for $1800 or finished for $2800
that is the add. The body was in decent shape. needs new spoiler, paint and the front end isn't aligned on the front left light. I talked him down 600 dollars so price is 1200 or 2200. please let me know if it sounds good. In NC area if anyone has any other trans am's for sale.
