Hello gang, my name is Neil and I have come to this forum in search of what must be a rare bird. I have only seen one like this in my lifetime and now can't even find pics of it. This bird was a 1979 Trans Am/Black/Silver Eagles and stripes and I seem to remember the car either having an L-82 engine or a pontiac equivalent of the L-82. I know I didn't dream this car. I can find plenty of "Bandits" and Silver Anniversaries but I can find nothing of this T/A. I seem to remember it even being called the Silver Eagle edition.

Only ones I can think of would be the Trans Am SE, which was usually black with the bird you discribed. But engines offered were the L37 301 non-turbo, W72 400, and the L80 Olds 403.

The other car that could possibly fit the profile would be the 10th Anniversary cars. But these were charcoal/silver colored birds with the L87/W72 400s, or the L80 Olds 403...
